I have been a resident of Powhatan Secondary and a Licensed Realtor in Williamsburg VA for the past 22 years. Our family has enjoyed watching this community grow and change. The location and amenities that Powhatan Secondary has to offer, make it a very desirable community for home buyers.

Below are graphs which reflect the price of homes sold in Powhatan Secondary over the past year and the average number of days those homes were on the market. As you can see, they tend to sell quickly and at, or above, the list price!

If you are thinking about selling, I strongly recommend that you speak with a realtor prior to starting home renovations as the National Association of Realtors 2024 Remodeling Report states only five things return all your money:  Hardwood floor refinishing (147%); installing new wood flooring (118%); new roof (100%); new garage door (100%) and insulation upgrades (100%).   Doing the remaining items – IF you are selling – means you aren’t necessarily recovering the cost of the renovation project.  Click here to learn more about the return on investment for home renovation projects.
